warehouses, auditoriums and other rooms with high ceilings has always been a problem. With the Shinook you cna now have uniform heat distribution in buildings with high ceilings - 12' or more. ![]() ![]() The Shinook consists of a spiral thread, aluminum, rib-tube element through which hot water is circulated. A fan, with specially designed blades, is mounted above the rib-tube element. The fan blades are designed to gently push a continuos stream of warmed air down and out to the bottom perimeter of the room (A). |
circulate in both directions from the bottom perimeter (B). Cooled air is continuously drawn back to the Shinook for reheating and distribution while warm air is continuously pushed to the bottom perimeter of the room. As a result you get very uniform horizontal heat distribution in the bottom of the room. Fan blades are adjustable to match your room size. Advantages - Energy savings of up to 30% may be realized. - Ceiling mounted the Shinook does not interfere with equipment placement in the room. - Low speed, high output fan is very quiet - Better horizontal air distribution increases comfort levels. No hot spots or cold draughts - Easily installed, long life and virtually maintenance free. |
